Courageous Therapy NJ (“we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This page explains what information this website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only. It does not describe how we handle clinical records, which is covered separately below.

Who we are

Information you give us

If you complete our contact form, we receive the name, email address, phone number and any message you choose to send. We use it only to respond to your inquiry and to schedule a free discovery session. Please do not include detailed health or clinical information in the contact form or in email, because these are not a secure way to share it. We will discuss that with you by phone or in a secure setting.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, this site uses cookies and similar technologies to see how visitors use it and to measure whether our advertising works. We use Google Analytics through Google Site Kit, and Google Ads conversion measurement, which can record things like pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and whether a visit led to a phone call tap or a form submission. We do not send your name, email address, phone number or form answers to these tools. We also use Google reCAPTCHA on forms to reduce spam.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, and you can use Google’s tools to opt out of Analytics. If you block cookies, some parts of the site may not work as expected.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website and communicate with you (for example, our website host, email provider and Google services described above), and where the law requires it.

Client health information

Information shared during therapy is protected as health information under federal and state law, including HIPAA. How we use and protect client information is described in the Notice of Privacy Practices that we provide to clients when they begin services. Visiting this website or sending an inquiry does not create a therapist and client relationship.

Emergencies

This website is not for emergencies. If you are in crisis, call 911 or call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

Changes and questions

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do. Questions can be sent to Hello@courageoustherapynj.com or by phone at (973) 282-6299.
